To grow 2 or 4?

So ive just harvested 4 gsc from fastbuds. Yielded 6ozs dry from a 250w hps wit some cfl to supplement, 3 gal pots and biobizz nutes. Its not dank weed but i think i messed up drying a bit. It got pretty cramped in there but they all fit.

So i now want to upgrade to 5 gal pots and try a mixed grow. I hear people saying grow less but bigger plants but i dont know the science behind it. Can anyone advise if i would be looking at a similar yield from 2 plants over 4. Im a big lst fan too.

Also, other than harvest times, what issues might i face growing 4 different strains?

250 hps , probably aint gooough for 4 plants, to much to penertrate, 2 with a lot of lst would be my choice, not always , does more plants = more yield..........i think the record for a auto is 2.2 pound dry & it was a single grow in a airpot, with 1000 hps above, Autoultimate by Dutch Passion were the genetics, theres a video of the grow on here somewhere, a grower known as the King, produced it........good luck
