Must apologize to SnotNazi didn't mean to hijack your thread!!!
oh I'm all legit\ state legal.. love rhode island.. but I'm doing mostly sativa right now. lemon haze. berry haze. sour deisel. power flower and some royal cheese. ppl said growing 5 strains would blow but it's all good. I haven't ran into any issues. I water and feed all the same. I guess cause I water by hand I'm giving enough up close attention that I adjust accordingly....but YOUR opp is quality stuff. I'll get to that status soon. after this harvest I'll be finishing up my rooms.. 4 1000w 8" cool tube vented with 10" inline.. I'm trying not to run a a.c. and so far it's looking doable. I'm running 2 8" 800 cfm one in one out in a 9 by 9 room in a bacement. intake air is coming from an adjacent room\ lung room. veg room has 6" out and a 8" in. but thanks for the info and chat... good people of this site

Cheers Bro.....sounds like "your Opp" is quality too......getting watering (feeding) automated makes a big difference for you and your plants, I was surprised how much time and effort
it saved but I would also say too, it's really important to be able to monitor nutrient and ph levels! I hear you about the AC that equipment is expensive and expensive to run....
I love where I live but just a little behind the times on some social topics....it's o.k to use morphine and synthetic meds but it's not ok to use a herbal equivalent that's just shit!LOL

No problem ask away.....that's what this forum is about, happy to help if I can!
OK Cool! Well I have 2 separate spaces. My veg space is 5'x5' but its short. Its under some steps so the ceiling slopes. I think the highest I can get my light, 600w air cooled hps, is 4' to the lens. My flower space is 8'-5"L x 4'-6"W x 8'-4"H with 4 p300 LED spaced 2' apart. I want to scrog but it would have to be done after the move to the flower room. I built an 8'L x 1'-5"W flood and drain table for the flower room that is about 30" high. I was thinking of building a screen 8'-5"L x maybe 32"W. That doesn't give me much room to walk between it and the wall but I think its do able. I guess my questions are , what do you think of this idea? How can I manage it without scrogging in veg? How many plants? I'll post some pics if I can find them of the spaces and the table so you can get a vision. I might have one of the flower room before I hung the drywall. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like you have all the space you need, I think its a great idea to make use of all your space. You don't have to scrog in veg, you can also veg in your flower room for
a short amount of time to get the cover if that's something you are concerned about.....it really doesn't take long if you have a plant that is established to fill in the screen.
Something to consider is starting some LST a lit bit earlier so you have enough tops to grow and cover the screen quickly, I put my screen in and continue to veg only for a week
which you could do in your flower room and then over the "transition period" (this is where the plants switch mode to flower) which last depending on strain up to 20 days before
you start to see obvious flower cluster I use that period to full the screen because they are in like an accelerated veg stage (stretch time). The beauty of scrogging is you get to
control how the plants shape so I keep tucking the shoots under the scrog until I see clusters then I let them grow up. I started using 4 plants in a 4x4 area but found that I
only needed 3 plants and what I did is you always seem to get a plant that grows faster, better than others and I would set them so the are like a triangle the faster growing plant
at the head and the other 2 at the back(like the first picture). I also make sure that the scrog is pulled down to the plants not let the plant grow up to the screen then use the screen
to shape and train the growing shoots. (like the second picture this was my first attempt when I used 4 plants but found 3 plants work better) The 3rd picture was only about 4-5 days
after I put in the scrog. A lot of this wil depend on how much your plants stretch when you flip them to flower I didn't know my strain and man it stretched a lot when it was turned.

Nice set up you got there! Ok. I'm just starting my 3rd week of 12/12 with my current grow and have some seedlings that I will do the scrog with when the room becomes available. So 8' x 2 1/2' screen, what do you think 4 plants max?

Go less than you think the plants will fill in all the spare space that is available to them, and try topping a couple of times to restrict height and encourage width. What are you going to use for a screen?

I was thinking of using 1" PVC pipe and fittings and drill holes in it for string. I want to make the height adjustable and attach it to the table somehow.

Ok I would suggest to use 15mm conduit pipe its walls are a bit thicker and it's a bit stronger and standard plastic garden trellis works well and goes together easy you can either
zip tie it to your frame or use electrical tape like the picture, just a suggestion. ;-) I just found it a bit of a pain to keep string tight on the frame, the picture shows PVC pipe which works ok but
my new set up i used the conduit pipe and it's priced about the same. (Cheap)! Lol

I agree with Forsure, I did a similar scrog net but didn't do a frame for it this time do to laziness and having to finess the stems through it to flatten out my canopy properly, mostly laziness though. I have a couple buds growing sideways....think they'll straighten out and grow straight up? Look at the left side of the plant you'll see what mean.

Also, I want to trim her a bit on top. Not going to lolly her but just want to get light to all bud sites. I have about 34 in the pic but I know of quite a few buried below those lush leaves. Should I clip, tuck, or trim completely those obstructing light?

Is that the garden trellis in the picture? I'm unsure what that is?

Also, do you hang yours or does it have legs? Adjustable height?

It's just garden trellis you can buy from any garden shop and it's only $20 for a good roll, I attach my scrog to the frame of the tent if you look closely at the picture you can see
a small thick rubber band (it's a tailing ring for lambs) I zip tied to the frame and i can adjust up and down but I don't once it's set I leave it.

Ahhh OK gotcha. Well that gives me some good ideas. I'm hoping to get started on it this weekend so it'll be ready when I need it. I think this is going to be my best method for the space that I have. Thank you so much for your help and all of the pics.

ScrOGing is good way to assure all your cola get good light and space, I would say do it I couldn't have near the amount of colas I have now if I didn't have a ScrOG going.

This is only 6 plants and I don't even feel like counting the amount of cola zones.
Hey quick question how big is your tent an how long it take you to fill the screen from seed or clone

The Exact reason Canada is having an Epidemic

I wouldn't this run, you have a good even canopy. Keep pulling it down you can use spring loaded clothes pins. The grove cut in them for the clothes line with clip over the branch without harming the branch. Use tape to add weight to the pins stuff like washers or nuts will work as weight. keep the weight on them or they will just spring back up
Lol nice, I use these weighted hooks like tent pegs, only thinner and metal. After I crop, I weigh the branches down until they stop fighting back.. Sluts..
