To Transplant or Not To Transplant

Hello everyone,

I'm 2.5 weeks into flowering on my first grow.

I have transplanted the plant 2 times so far, tried to keep the vertical height as low as possible due to space limitations I have.

Right now it is in a 5 liter pot, but today I bought a 16 liter horizontal pot just the right fit for my grow space.

Here is the picture of both of the pots side by side.

So, what say you, should I transplant the bae? Would it increase the yield?

bigger yields come from bigger pots in a longer veg. I'd let this one ride and learn for the next one. bigger pots mean less watering too...vertical height is controlled with training/topping in the veg room, now you can tie and bend instead.

also, does forcing the branch sideways cause the buds to grow separately instead of being chunky? Can too much LST cause this?

forcing a branch sideways makes room for light, garden habits, and space allowance, also stimulates hormones in the plant that encourage new meristem growth, possibly resulting in more buds.
"grow separately" meaning longer internode spacing?
"chunky" = shorter internode spacing?

this is determined by genetics and garden controls-light, temps, humidity, feed, etc-

What I understand is that naturally, the bud sites on the branch grow on alternating nodes upwards to eventually form a big, fat flower. (which everyone seems to be chasing) I see that happens flawlessly with naturally grown single cola plants.

Right now with my plant having heavily bent branches, I see the bud sites turning upwards towards the light, actually moving away from the branch. Would this result in a branch having a somewhat larger flower on top of it, while lower nodes producing smaller buds that contemptuously called "popcorn"?

I dunno, I dont fuss with my plants. I top them in veg until I want them in flower and let them grow straight up for a multi cola experience.

Alright man, thanks for the input.

If anyone could elaborate on the subject I'd appreciate it.

If your in flowering mate, I wouldn't transplant, that would put major stress on the plant that u have going right now. If you look for bigger pots, consider going to a 15ltr or maybe 20ltr round pot.

If you don't have the money to do that, consider the idea of take a round trash can and cutting the bottom off to make your own. Also 20ltr plastic buckets are also good to use and they are cheap to get ahold of. I had one of my friend use kitty litter pales for his grow...

just a few options...lol
