I know you said you don't want to do it but the answer is Neem Oil or some Neem Oil product. I use Azatrol and it fucking ruins mites. You shouldn't see any the next day or for a long time, end of story. You can use it on the day of harvest and it is OMRI approved. It has a residual effect for 7-10 days after use so if you don't plan on water curing but you spray with anything organic just don't even bother harvesting for at least a week.

Also, you don''t have to personally wipe down every leaf either. Get one of those 8$ automatic sprayers from Walmart, pump and pray. I can do my entire garden in 5-10m using 1 full gallon of spray.

If you are prone to spider mites then you are probably prone to thrips too (indoors) and outdoors you are opening yourself up to a world of other little critters as well. You need to have a plan to battle pests and you need to be prepared to do it to your budding flowers. NEVER let those spider mites or any bug have their way with your girls, no matter how close to harvest they are. They can devastate a crop faster than you would obviously believe.

I will warn you not to use the alcohol and dish soap method on your buds though. THC is highly soluble in alcohol so you would just be melting your trichomes. While organic non residue dish soap will work to drown the bugs, it can also stay in your buds and cause bud rot. Only use these methods before you are budding or do so at your own risk.
