top 44 flowering phase

Though this is my first grow, i added this to the general board as i have become pretty well read in the theory and botany of the plant .

I have chosen top 44 as my first grow for the relative simplicity of the strain. i am using a soil/perlite medium and a 250w hps.
I germinated ten seeds as i assumed that they wouldnt all Make it to flowering, i now have 5 very healthy plants and 3 looking a little withered as they arent recieving enough light.

My question is, is it a mistake to induce flowering in plants 20 days old from seed, 6/7 inches tall and with 7/8 nodes?
all the stems seem to be sturdy and healthy.

Yes you can. Some people go straight into flowering from seed. The longer you veg, the better the yield.

Nice, Thanks a lot. I'l have to get some pics up because these are looking really strong for my first grow. I now have 6 Plants as i sacrificed 2 of the unhealthy ones as the foliage was stealling light from healthy plants.
I have found with top 44 that the vertical growth is minimum but the foliage growth and diameter of the plant gets huge fast! In retrospect i would have chosen a bigger grow space than a 5' x 2' closet.

Has anyone got any experience growing top 44 or even smoking it?
