Topping multiple times

Hi, i wanted to know if topping multiple times increase the yield or this is only for space control , i found several post about people saying it not increase yiel only make bud smaller.

If the pot size is large enough to accomodate additional tops, and the plant has enough light and proper conditions to grow a thick stalk, yes, adding tops will add yield.

Look at my grow journal, I have 1 plant that I topped a few times. I have 49 tops on 1 plant, expect to yield about 1 pound.

It will increase yields but it will also increase veg time.

Weed grows a single spike with radiating side branches-just like a xmas tree. This gives a single large cola and alot of smaller side buds. Topping and manifolding allows you to create multiple main colas and allows you to focus the plants energy where you want it. Don't know who told you that but they obviously dont know anything. More tops=bigger yield

Yield does increase with more equal tops, LST is just as good as Topping + their is less Recover time since theirs no cutting

best way to ruin your first grow is to concern yourself with yields.
I used a jorge cervantes grow bible for success,
then I used an Ed Rosenthal book to understand why it happened
allow that plant to do its thing and learn to communicate with the specie first

I wish I concerned myself more. My first yield was 2 ounces, I could have been getting a pound.

if you are growing bud and not havin' a good time, you must be doin somethin wrong.

I top after the 5th node. A week later I top all side branches and veg train for a couple more weeks. Since I don't net I try for 20+ tops. It takes about 8+ weeks of veg but in the end it's worth the time and effort.

Thats not this site, thats life.....

I cant keep up with the demands of a 6-8 oz plant so my program keeps them a tidy 2-4 oz per and that keeps me happy. outdoors is different, I like cali style bush if I got the room to veg a giant indoors first.
