2 3/4 but ya lol and it's not leafy it's dense and wasn't much lower at all. I'll probably lose just a couple grams since it's not completely dry but it's dry enough to smoke on, taste great, smells wonderful.

These were nugs side by side. Left was untoppped right was topped.

I tried this once early in flower and my plant need up growing what I call siamiese tops. They would start as one and split.

I tried it on another strain and it looks like it was gonna do that but also hermied.. I need stable strains this sucks lol. Wasn't due to stress just the strain is unstable . I grew both last run as well and they did it again, a little later in flower this time but had to pull em early. Tried planting two of my autos and they didn't ever make it.. I'm losing hope lol seeds just never ended up growing a good tap root so a week later planted and nothing..

That would suck. I've never really had that bad of luck. My first grow was just bag seed and ever since my first harvest I try for better and bigger. I actually sprung and bought seeds.

I just tried this last night because I heard it can produce monster yeilds. I tried on my Super Critical from Greenhouse. I have two plants that about identical. They started flower on December 6th. I pretty much pinched the pistils and like a 1/16 of the calyx. You supposedly do this to every bud in the cluster that makes up the cola or bud site. I also heard it can be done multiple times during flower without adding extra time. I will take pics tonight.

You can see one is pinched and one is not. I pinched all the tips on one plant. Both plants are clones from the same mother and virtually identical and feed the same mix at the same time. So lets see if it does anything other then turn my tips brown...

I could see during veg... but during flower sounds scary as fxxk!!!

I seen some 2 liter size buds come from plants that were clones with 2 weeks veg before flower. It may be bullshit but I'll give it a try. I don't mean to jack the OP's post, but wanted to know if anyone was doing this?

Maybe I'll try that on 1 plant lol... see what happens

never tried it myself been apprehensive to do it maybe I will give it a go next time

So far im not seing much difference.....it may have even slowed growth...

You will in the end. I'm sure the plants take a little shock. Should only be done with a healthy plant as well. But I've always seen a difference. I don't do it to every strain either..

These are healty and both identical from each other. I might do it again before they finnish just to see. I will weigh them in the end. I did it to, 2 Super Critical from Green house. Here is the one i did not do...
