topping?

just wondering what every body thinks about it.

I do it. In my experience it increases yield. It slows growth for a couple of weeks but it also gives side branches a chance to come up, which is where the extra yield comes from. If you're packing 16 plants under a 600 watt lamp or something I prob'ly wouldn't do it to save room, but if you only have a few females then yes I do it.

sweet my buddy topped a couple of his a while ago and now they are growing 2 tops i didnt think that would acctually happen

Topping is a neccesity for the best possible yields..... Top them right above the sixth node and clone um and so on and so forth..once u top continue to grow the new stems for more colas to reside on....

Top both of those and you'd have 4 tops. But after awhile your making the veg time too long and you could have had a complete grow done and moved on to the next one.

Ya toping is real good i have toped mine a few times but i veg for 6 weeks so get crazy growth after topping check them out Got my 8 pack WaterFarm up and going (Pics)
