tri cities Hermiston is where i would look,I think it would be the closest climate to where you are now.

Some times the top or not top decision is taken out of your hands. Like with my little Hurricane Head. I assume it was grasshoppers and not deer, due to the fact most of it is still there.

Damn little black birds have been tearing up my crops this year. Ripping off all the leaves and branches.

I topped once so everything has 8-10 branches, then I'll tie down the top branches if needed to help even the branches out
