Its starting to get a lil cold outside and Im nervous about frost. I was thinking of transferring my plant from the ground to a big pot. The plant has been flowering for about a month. The entire plant is covered with pistils everywhere, but the buds dont look super thick and formed yet. Will this be too much of a shock to my plant if I transfer?

Im also worrying a bit why I can see all these pistils, but it doesnt look like theres much underneath them

honestly man, fuck no, there is no WAY you can even estimate how far the roots are, or what direction they went because of the main water puddle around it, and your just gonnakill your plant, harvest it the night before your estimated first frost, if thats already happened, harvest asap

You will not kill your plant it will stunt it for a few weeks though and most of your roots will be lost. I had one plant full of powdery mildew in my garden and had to uproot it so it wouldnt infect the other plants and instead of just cutting it down and killing it I lightly pulled up on the stem and pulled the plant up and the main rootball was still intact. This was done DURING flower and it stunted it but now its back packing on weight again. It can be done but I would only do it as a last resort.
