I usually use paper towell method to germinate.. im doing a small space bucket grow. Would anyone suggest once the root is out just planting into a 3 gal pot that im using inside the bucket? Or into a small cup.. then into the 3 gal bucket?

This year I went 10/10 germinating and will never do it any other way. I bought a bag of root riot pods and put the seed in it, ripped off a piece of it and covered the holes with its. I kept them in the dark for a day then put them under one of those plastic domes and 3 cfls with 20/4 for two whole weeks. Keep them sprayed lightly. From there I put them in 1 gallon, I'm sure you could do a 3 gallon just don't over water. Really recommend that method

I would place the germinated seeds in small cups, dropped in the hole, taproot down, and the shell/top standing up. Cover the hole with light soil and hit it with a small amount of water. Keep the seedling in the cup until you get a nice root ball going, then transplant into it's final pot.

Is that just for starting stuff? Looks like it'd make a nice cloning chamber.

Well it could have been used for that, but I actually just used it for a hobby grow chamber. I didn't really care how much bud I was producing.
My last gg4 clone grow was actually started in the bucket though, but I soon figured out there was no way in hell I could flower in it after vegging a clone for a month in it.20170503_131430.jpg
Grew nice little plants though, lol.
