Transplanted Clones Wilting and Yellowing

Hello all

I have been trying to diagnose an issue that I am having with my WaterFarm hydroponic setup. This was originally posted in the Hydro section until I realized there was a separate Problem section. Original thread can be found here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/transplanted-clones-wilting-and-yellowing-in-waterfarm.934745/

The long and short is that I purchased clones (rooted in plugs and put in soil in a 2-3" plastic pot), placed them in my WaterFarm buckets under a 300W LED light running 24/7 using Hydroton as my medium, and set the drip rings to 24/7 as well. The recirculating water was pH'd at 5.8/5.9, no nutrients, and a little bit of Great White mycos for root growth.

After a day or two, my plants started wilting. I reduced the watering time to a half hour every hour, and moved the light up (from about 1.5 feet to 2 feet away from the tops). I thought maybe the drip wasn't hitting the roots, so I poured pH'd water directly on the plant base and roots.

After two more days, the plants had wilted more and were starting to yellow slightly. Older leaves definitely had some yellowing/browning on the edges (not something I was especially concerned about), but also had splotching of brown patches. I thought my plants needed some form of nutrients, so I added Techna Flora Boost + Grow to the reservoirs at approximately 600pm.

Several days later and I'm out of ideas. I swapped out the LED for my HydroFarm T5 4 tube 4 foot light (216W) with only two bulbs connected (lower power on the light, fewer lumens). The drip timer is only running a half hour every eight hours now.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is the overwatering + overfertilizing possibly the culprit? I've included the images below, but the forum issues mean they aren't showing up and I can't post proper links (I am new to the forum).

Thank you for your help!

Wellllllll im gonna assume that you overwatered the poor thing haha a plant cannot recieve that much water without getting air to the roots, why not have the ring come on ever 20 minutes for 10 seconds or so? In my honest opinion you gave it to much water.

so you put rooted hungry clones into a system without any food, just plain water, then they showed signs of starvation, so then you added some food four days later to fix the death symptoms? o_O
