transplanting to bigger pot... coco...

Hey guys,

Just a quick newb question for y'all... I have some plants in coco, 2ltr pots, that I want to move to their final pots... do I have to loosen the roots up and spread them out in the new pot? Or can I just slide the 2ltr pot off and drop the plants straight into the new pot without messing with the roots? I guess I'm asking, will the plants roots untangle themselves and spread throughout the bigger pot without me messing with them?

Thanks in advance,

emini

I suggest taking the plant out of its current pot and just placing the plant in the new pot.Take the coco and fill the gaps surrounding the plant (inside the pot.)Do not compress the coco down on the plant, but rather just let water arrange the composition of the coco later.I would not suggest attempting to untangle the roots, this will likely cause stress that is unnecessary. The plant will self regulate later after the transplant.

Happy Growing.:weed:
