Hey all first timer here, ? I am using a general hydroponics waterfarm system with four containers. I planted two seedlings per pot trying to detemine sex but after 10 days they got so bushy and around 8" tall they where gettin crowed so today I very gently removed one plant per pot not damaging the roots and put into good bagged potting soil. Also they are under a 1000w light with hood at 36". Does this sound ok or did I F^ck it all up. any help would be appreciated.

WOW... is this your first grow...? if so-i think you are, in fact, doing excellent so far; congratulations if i was you id just make sure the plants dont get too hot. ive heard between 80-90 and try not to let it fluctuate more than 20*.

well actually they where about 5" when I went from flouro to the 1000 mh. But in the ten days in the hydrogarden the roots where already down in the bottom bucket in the water. My other problem is temp. outside temps these days are in the high 80's and nights are in the low 40's so my grow room with good intake and exhaust with a heater still goes from mid 80's during the day and around 60 at night.

my first question is why did you go from hydro to soil? and they survived the transplant? and you want the temp to stay within 10 degrees of night temp and day temp. so 85 in the day and 75 at night is optimal. what nutes are you using and at what ppm? because the roots probably went searching for food which is why they are so long

I went from hydo to dirt because I have only 4 hydo pots and had two plants per hydo.and they are gittin crowded. I am using hydponics flora nutes,
i mixed the first solution all wrong, lasted about 5 days then I change the nutes to 800-1000ppm. My room is 4'w..by12'L...by8'H. It's very hot here right now about 90+ and about 40 in the morning. I have a heater in with them but can't seem to keep up with the low temps.

800-1000ppm seems a little much for only being 2 weeks old. but until it burns id say keep it up. whats he temp in your grow room like?
