Tricking outdoor plants for night chop vs early morning

Not sure if my ideology is on point or not, so figured I'd try to ask here.
I'm in NW Illinois and have pushed as far as weather will allow. We have had temps in the mid 30's for last 4 nights and now going to get 3 days of rain starting tonight at 9ish going thru the morning. Due to my schedule, would really prefer to chop tonight vs morning like I have in the past, but not willing to sacrifice all the greatness that comes from early morning harvest.

Can I trick my plants by putting them to sleep with total darkness aka tarps n black sheets, around 3pm and chop around 9pm? Would that give me the same results as early morning chop?

The time of day of harvesting is inconsequential. No one can discern the difference in bud chopped at 8pm or 8am, because there isn't any. Chop them at your convenience. You'll achieve the same greatness regardless of the time of day.

you do know you can cut a plant and make a clone?meaing plant will be alive for weeks after cutting....

what you want to do is not water it soo there is less water in the plant to dry faster or some bullshit like that

Yes, plant will be alive after cutting, but only if it has a water source... Plants need moisture to propagate

Idk... The amount of resin in my buds first thing in the morning vs evening when I put them in their tent, is wild. They are so fragrant and sticky in the morning, where some evenings the resin almost seems non-existent... then the morning hits and BOOM it's back again, lol.
