TurboTokes Indoor / Outdoor Stealth Grows

Id like to share my evolving experience with growing and flowering cannabis both indoors and outdoors, just personal ammounts but I dont mind sharing.

Im fortunate to own my small home, and live in a more rural area with few neighbours and forests within walking range. Currently its winter here so no outdoor for a few months.

Im currently growing in my loft, in a 2x4x5 tent. I use fabric pots, coco coir and perlite for medium. I have a 600w digital ballast setup with an enclosed glass hood, keeps it very cool with lights on.

Currently growing 9 plants, all peakseedsbc. Com strains, a great Canadian seed company, vegged for 42days, all plants have been mainlined, just flipped to 11/13 today to induce flower. They are all reg seeds, so they will show there sex soon I hope, might even chuck some pollen in a seperate tent.

Im using my private well as a water source, general hydroponics flora trio nutes and CalMag, hand waterred with an easy diy setup i made out of a pond pump and a ball valve, makes waterring very easy and controllable

Ive also started this diy ez cloner aswell, just waiting on the misters, net pots and neoprene inserts to show up. I plan on taking about 15 cuts from the plants above after stretch, labelling which plant each comes from, and do a feminized run of cuts next, likely in a scrog, as I already have that made to.

Want to see how fast i can get rooted and transplant to coco coir / perlite

6 days into flower, dealing with pretty cold temps in the grow tent, down to 60 with the lights off. But I am using a heating pad under the tents inner liner, keeps the bottoms of the pots at 74ish

Sex is starting to show, ive only confirmed one female, and I believe 3 plants showing balls, but still early in development I will give them some time before cutting males down

Obvious males got chopped today. 3 healthy mainlined plants.

3 are showing female sex, 3 are undetermined yet. I will give them another few days before i have all the males out, hopefully end up with 4 ladies and up pot them to 5 gallon fabric pots for the duration of flower.

Biggest plant in the tent is 23“ female, but its a mixed seed i dont even know the genes, but its peakseedsbc, so it will be a wonder plant Im sure

The finally tally of ladies is indeed 4. A KushNorthern Lights, C99 sweet Skunk, and 2 mystery seeds.

They are all in there final 3 gallon pots except the one male i kept, i forget its pheno at the moment, but in a one gallon shoved off to the side, just to keep it alive and collect some pollen

However the C99 is not fairing to well, it was the only plant I attemped to FIM, the fan leaves have curled downwards, but are very dark green still. It drinks water at the same rate and is just as dry after 2 days as the rest of the plants. I feel it may not yield so id like to take the 8 cuts from it (was mainlined first so it has 8 branches) and start those cuttings in the veg cabinet under cfls to start the next wave of all ladies

Took 8 cuttings off the wilted fimd C99, basically leaving only the top growth on the plant but oh well I feel its a worthwhile sacrifice.

All cuts were scraped with a razor blade and a small slit, and dipped in cheap root powder, then straight into there moistened ph'd new homes

2 in solo cups
2 in 4 inch pots
4 in jiffy pellets

I guess im experimenting, will see if I have better results with one or the other, only going to keep the 4 best showing of them to veg. Under a 23w cfl 24/7 right now

Also a pic of the rootball of one of the males i killed, if anyone is curious why fabric pots are such a better option than plastic, the entire pot was filled and dense

Waited a little to long to use my males pollen, i pulled him out of the tent as i wrote above and literally stuck him on a side table, i noticed a week ago he was opening but thought i had lots of time. I was wrong, i had a very tough time shaking any pollen out of him, bit did get some, and spread it on 2 C99 Colas, so we will see if it took and starts to make seeds.

Waterred the girls just now, starting to yellow a bit on the edges of the middle and lower leaves, not sure if its burn or deficiency at this point.

Clones appear to be growing a bit, here's a pics from today, ill have to compare to the pic i posted above, i may pull the dome off and lower the cfls shortly if they are indeed rooted

Canopy is looking pretty darn nice for 22 days into flower, waterred them all today

The close up pic is of the cola I pollenated, didnt turn out so well sorry

Clones have started to yellow a bit, wish i would have put them in the ez cloner instead of straight to medium, hope they pull thru.

Is anyone even reading this? Let me know if you are!

Wow, yeah the colas are filling in very quickly.

Nice job! I like your setup.

A friend of mine from another board is running through lots of PSBC stock and had some trouble with his C99 as well, iirc.

Any dominant smells coming out yet?

Subbed up!

Stay Hazed,
Jake

Seems riu is back online, that was quite the downtime. My girls are all just passed 8 weeks flower, I have lowered the feed ammount considerably, to about 1200ppm, i feel i was over feeding earlier, ppms were over 2200 before I bought a meter to check

My c99 ended up by far the tallest, but also the most spread between flowers. Mystery seed has the biggest colas and will yield the most overall but the Kush Northern Lights in the back, the smallest bushiest is the healthiest looking.

Ive been checking them daily with the 60x loupe, all seem close to ready, no clear trichs, all ate cloudy, but no amber yet. I presume chop will be here shortly

Cant say Ive noticed any distinguishing smells, but my exhaust is very good, Excuse the hps light coloring in the pics

Thanks. Turned the lights off early today. Its chop time. Going to give them 24 hours dark first. Hang to dry in there own tent, humidity is about 50rh and 65f temps so the dry should go smooth. Im going to keep all leaves intact while drying, see how it affects drying time. I usually pull all fan leaves before hanging

I also put 2 Sour Liver autos from memphisto genetics in paper towels this morning to germ. Going to start them inside then likely outdoors to finish
