Turkey bags? Will they cure as good as glass jars?

Hi I'm a newb. I'm harvesting about 9 pounds so glass jars are. Out of the question. Help!! I heard turkey bags work. If they do can u tell me how to properly use them?

personally, i think they cure better than glass. at least in the beginning, when there's still a little moisture in the bud.

Go get a box of these, I have used them for years, put your weed in white garbage bags and toss into the space bag, wallmart sells them. Put a peace of cardboard under the valve in side the bag where you suck the air out or all you will get is garbage bag when sucking the air out. No smell and bug and water proof. Use some care as they will rip. not often but they do.

u can still use jars they make half gallon canning jars, my harvest was 3 lbs and i ended up using 36 quart sized jars with and fit all but 2 oz.9 lbs is gonna be alot of jars but its better than plastic

Bags are good for sweating but I wouldn't use em to cure. Mason jars are cheap even the big ones.

As far as your sarcasm goes������

I would use 2.5 gallon glass jars like these. You can find the ones with the twist on lids online and the the others with the pull off lid at Target and Walmart.

turkey bags are what to use BEFORE putting buds in glass jars. you can use them to essentially sweat the buds without worrying about anerobic bacteria proliferating and causing the ammonia smell that will ruin your buds smell.
with that being said, you can use them to cure, but understand they are not 100% airtight, so you will continually lose moisture while storing in the bags, unlike jars. if you have large amount you can out the bud in turkey bags and then vacuum seal to get as close a replica as a glass jar if you have large amounts (i.e packaging lbs in turkey bags then vacuum sealing)
this is the reason when you get a professiknally packagjng lb of bud there is a turkey bag inside the sealed lb.
for storage for quality nothing will beat a sealed mason jar. but not a whole lot of people will do that though for that large amount. you could look into large size cannavaults maybe, or the largest sizes of mason jars available.
