Today is day one since breaking soil.....

They were germinated in paper towel and then planted in 4 inch pots. It took 36 hours for tap roots and then another 36 to break soil.

Soil-Promix HP
Nutrients- Jacks Classic

Vegging under 800 watts MH.

Flower will be 1800 watts vertical.
2X 600 HPS
1 X 600 MH

I decided to only do two this time because i want to keep my focus and I will already have two other plants in the room at the same time.

I'm really thinking about getting me some of thoughs pots this fall. They seem to be working for yeah eh!
I like them a lot. I was using something called microkote which was a copper hydroxide paint that you apply to the inside of the pots. It works very well itself and even though the plants can't uptake the copper, i still feel safer doing it this way.

Watching for sure! Haven't been here on RIU very long, but been studying, watching and researching. Was looking at Jack's myself after watching some of @Greengenes707 videos. If you don't mind, could you elaborate on your feeding please. Thanks for the journal!

I keep my feeding pretty simple.
The method i use is called "Drain to Waste" and the idea is you feed nutes every time but at a low dose.

Im probably feeding at 250ppm each and every time i water and I also keep the PH at 5.7.

I use Jacks Classic 20-10-20 Citrus Blend for Veg and most of flower. At the onset of flower I hit them with Jacks Bloom Booster (10-30-20) and also from time to time during flower . I pretty much go by how they look so if they show some yellowing i go back to the Citrus, etc.

I plan to buy Jacks Aqua Gold to replace the Bloom Booster ASAP.

The biggest thing to remember when doing Drain to Waste is to always water until you have plenty of run off. I cannot stress enough how important that is.
