turning off DWC pump

Hey everyone, first time trying one DWC bucket . I'm having a spider mite issue in the room, and want to set off a spider mite bug bomb, Doctor doom to be exact. It says to turn off all electrical before using it . That's fine and dandy if I'm not doing a DWC, but now I am . Can I turn it off for a couple hrs and be ok ? Or should I just not use the bomb and use mighty wash or azamax?

Id recommend not using doctor doom. When I first started growing I used it and it burnt and shriveled, any leaf it touched.

Id never use it near buds.

Ive accidentally closed an air valve and only, noticed after a few days when the water started smelling and lots of foam, was at the surface so yes your plants will be fine.

Thanks for the input everyone. I've never had issues with the Doctor doom before, but now that I recall, maybe that's what gave me problems a while back. Looked like my plants were burned . I have just one plant in a 5gal DWC and some others in soil. Im experimenting with the DWC to see if I can see the difference in taste and if I want to switch permanently to it or keep using subcools super soil.
