You should have never mixed them together mate. They are 2 completely different growing mediums. just set yourself up for a few problems. Coco is hydroponic and has no nutrients in it. Soil will have nutrients in it already. You don’t mix them together you pick one or the other to grow in. I grow in coco so I’m not experienced in soil but I know a little. You also get different types of soil with different strengths of nutrients in them. When starting out you use a soil specific for seedling because if it’s to strong you’ll burn your plants. I’ve also noticed in another thread you’ve got that light 32 inches away. For a plant that size it’s way too low and too strong. Less is more. Common mistakes in the first grow is to give them loads of nutrients and loads of light thinking they will grow faster. All it does is stress them. Gentle does it. Also you need to pick which medium your going to grow in because there are specific nutrients for each medium. For soil is canna terra and for coco is canna coco. Everybody fucks there first grow up mate just learn from the mistakes you make this time so you don’t make them again.

You will need to transplant at some point when there bigger do pick a medium and stick with that.

I disagree slightly. There is no reason why you can't mix coco and soil together. Next time you look at a bag of soil look at the ingredients. Most soil/medium producers use a base of coco coir in their soil mixes anyway. Then add dried organic nutrients to give the soil its feeding capabilities.

So what do you think I should do.? Discard these? It's called coco peat got it with the set up?

No need to discard. But @cottee was right in that the 600 burning down too closely on that wee bairn is a bit much. You can see the plant is crying out for some sun tan lotion lol. Move the light up a bit and the taco leaf thing should be okay.

Really? I’ve never grown in soil so i didn’t know that.

They will grow mate. You could just carry on and use this as a learning grow. I done some fucked up shit to my plants in my first grow and the weed still turned out all right. You could also start again it’s up to you.

OK think I'll take it as a learning curve lol. Have move the light right up and turned the computer fan up another notch. Shall I feed water

Wait until the pot drys out a bit. Feel the weight of the pot when you feed so you know when it’s soaked. Then when it’s light feed then. You don’t want the medium soaked constantly.

OK cool. cheers. Turned the lights on at 12.. 18 hours on? Haven't watered them in day and half. Moved the light all the way to the top. Will keep an eye on it n see what happens.

Aye. Or they are peat based, or compost based. But a lot of potting soil it coco. Tis the cheapeat method of production.

I learnt to grow before using a grow site then growing led me to Rollitup. Much easier way, here its all cal/mag, ph, additives, temps, humidity etc etc, all bollocks really.

Cold weather is good for my growing ,Has soon has one room goes off,i get the other timer to come on in the other tent ,so its all ways not too cold in that room.Rather have snow than Hot summer weather any day in a growing situation.
