Yes, theres a reason for it. If the inlet is right next to where the carbon filter is, then there wont be a full exchange between the whole room. If the inlet is opposite of where the carbon filter is, you force full room air exchange and temp control across the whole room. Thats why its setup with the long duct for the exhaust.

1500W ...perfect. You wont need to play around either like I had to since you have a digital readout on your thermostat. Im frugal so I opted to go digifree. I regretted it after taking 2 days to continually monitor and dial in to set to temp haha.

Yeah Red that is the whole purpose I ended up going with the digital because it is more precise and accurate. Less to fool with...

And folks, room is still under construction but I do have power now!!! Excited as hell to get this grow underway!

Hey comrades! Any idea where I should place my Titan Helios 7 controller in this OP?

It is currently in the process of shipping. Anyone have experience with Titan Light controllers?? The Helios 7 is a 240v box and can power up to 8 lights and ballasts. It has a mechanical dial timer built into it. I am going to give it a try and see if she functions to standards...

I also have 3 more 1000 watt dimable ballasts on the way, the thermostatic plug controller that Red recommended, 3 hortilux hps bulbs and a few more items as well.

I have 2 inline fans that have a lot of time on them. A few years actually. Gonna give them a shot and if one shits out then I have a backup and I will take action in ordering another one.

Same with the filters. I have 6 6inch phresh filters rated for over over 500cfm that had had various amounts of use on them. Before I make a move to order a brand new one I am gonna see how these will control odors first.

Now I do have a question for anyone experienced with the Titan Helios 7 controller. It is ran 240v and has universal outlets for 120/240. Now it says you can use a 120v ballast cord in replacement of a 240v, If you please. So the box being 240v do I have to purchase new 240 ballast cords to run them at 240 or will they run at 240 using the 120v cords? This is a hold up I am currently trying to figure out.

By next week (hopefully monday), this grow n show will be a rollin'... I can't wait to start a journal. Is it possible a mod could move this from design and setup to indoor growing? Or the best place for grow journals and maybe change the title, instead of editing and throwing up all my step by step progress again? That would be awesome!

Im no help on the controller, but how can you use the 120V ballast cords as 240? They arent the same gauge wire and the plug ends are completely different?
What kind of ballasts are you using? Ususally on the magnetic ballasts, there are 2 plug openings -one for each rated voltage input (120/240). They make a totally different plug for the 240V.

I'm using 120/240 digital ballasts. Let me send you a link to the controller...

Maybe from there you can help me figure something out Red. Thanks for stopping by bro! I started my grow journal as well my man.

Here is the link...

Ok, I get it now. I was thinking magnetic ballasts. Nice controller btw. The cord for the ballast to recepticle will need to be rated for 240V and it should say on the cord or the literature that came with it, online etc. I know some companies make you get 2 seperate cords and some just send out a 240 with everything so I'd recommend doing your due diligence on that.

why all the ducting?mount fan filter blow straight out I must be missing something
@Roger A. Shrubber has it. When the filter is placed opposite of the room intake it forces a full room air exchange and temp control. If the filter were right next to the inlet of the room you would just be sucking up the fresh air entering into the room as soon as it enters and before it had a chance to exchange and cool the room.
