get em oasis! can you describe the bugs you are seeing? have you looked at em through a magnifier? they can eat the roots all they want, im just about ready to harvest. i still would like to know for next grow.

Tobacco water and dawn was definately effective. They are there still but i'd say maybe 1/10th what they were. PLant is fine. they are tiny little white mite looking bugs that have legs and crawl. They are only in the soil and move a lot when disturbed. Exactly like what the pic in the beginning looked like. I'm STILL not sure what the hell they are, They could be harmless but i don't care they were on the wrong piece of real estate. A bunch crawled to the top and died after i used the tobacco water and dawn mixture.

Have you looked through a magnifier? do they have hair?

alcohol will kill them also....not good for roots tho. mix 1/3 alcohol, 2/3 water..with a couple drops of dish soap.

90% alchohol, finely chopped onion, and most importantly.. fresh tomato leaves. Get the veggies as diced as possible and place it all in a glass jar and shake off and on all day. Let sit overnight. Shake well in the AM and spray all over soil/lower side of the plant. Even lift some soil out, spray it.. then put sand ontop to smother them. Works for my brassicas outdoor.

I used a water, neem oil, dish soap mix, and they are all but eliminated. I just kept up with spraying the top of the soil and most of the plant 1-2 times a week. Funky little boogers are just as hard to get rid of as gnats, but once you control the population down to a minimum, they are just a mild nuisance.

get abot 5 cigaretts put them in a cop ith about 30 ozs of h2o and let them sit overnight. the next day boils the tobacco water for like 5 minetes to kill tobacco mosiac virus then let the juice cool to room temperature. pour it in the soil and the chemicals and nicotine will destroy the bugs. I've used it and it does not hurt the plant. You will notice at least a 80% decrease in the bugs. organic dish soap at about a half teaspoon to the mixture help kill the bugs by helping to coat them with the mixture.
