I've made about 3 - 4 grows with my 20 plus year old beans. The results have always been successful but I'm wondering how much better things would be if I had new20211202_231656_copy_2016x1134.jpg bank beans.

I live is a bean prude state so I don't even know if I can get some and especially what species let alone the company to choose out of the hundreds?

Thoughts?

The big advantage to new beans (strains) would be possibly higher THC levels and of course, some variety. Unless your state has a specific prohibition, seeds are now legal to buy/sell, and mail in the US, because seeds are under the THC level, like hemp. What you get is up to you, get what interests you, Indica or sativa,, or both! There are so many seed banks in the US, check out the sponsors!!!!

Treat yourself!

Thank you very much. I think variety would be fun and interesting!
Well there so many good banks to go with its hard making a choice just get stealth shipping if you extra cautious due to where you stay and if your in north america id reccomend maybe lucky dawg seeds or topdawg seeds those two are solid and have some killer stuff it sounds like u will have never tried

Variety is the spice of life, I really enjoy exploring cannabis varietals and expanding my understanding of all the amazing strains that are out there.
But, be advised new is not always better, in my personal opinion most modern strains suck, and breeding has gone downhill in the last 10-15 years. Many seed banks now specialize in 20 - 30 year old beans because many people feel the same way that I do. There are some great new strains but also a sea of mid-grade poly-hybrid hype. Most new popular strains don't actually get me very high.

The grass is not always greener on the other side. That said I would also get bored only growing one strain, and there are a ton of great seed banks/breeders out there. I've only tried a fraction of what's available but I've tried quite a few, and personally, my favorite breeder over all so far has been AK Bean Brains. You can order directly from AK Bean Brains or through JBC Seeds. There are a ton of others though, like Dynasty, Relic, Crickets and Cicadas, just to name a few who put time into actual breeding.

So, out of the 2 dawg banks, what one is your favorite bean? So many choices makes my head spin lol.

There both good and i kill em or pass em onto my mates who breed i grow both regs and fems mate im not scared of running em like some are bud im sure however you will notice quite often the best lines do tend to be regs only u will find mate alot of breeders dont like making fems then you got some who fem only but thats lazy imo do both for preservation sake at least topdawg works with his stardawg strain alot among others and lucky dawg is more chem 91 orientated best thing u can do is figure what u like more and roll with it
