unknown G13 strain

hi tahoe, thanx man, im just thinking ahead for my next grow. it will be interesting to see how they turn out, afghan x bigbud x g13 x unknown. hopefully with big buds covered in sticky thc lol. here are a few pics of the g13 today ( day 2 of 12/12 ) is the leaf curling a water issue ? there are no signs of disscolouration on them, they just curl under. the light is 20" above the tops and i have an oscillating fan as pictured. the temp never goes above 80 deg F. any suggestions would be appreciated.

hey man....your very welcome...I love coimng by to visit...i get good vibes from you! the curling....I had a similar circumstances....a variety of things were postulated....water, nutes, light....even nute lock, all the regular. I can't remember for sure .... but in my mind I don't think it was ever really confirmed. I cut back on watering....I was convinced that it wasn't a nute or light thing just cuz I know the specifics of my circumstances....I recall it not progressing ever more severely and that is what I hung my hat on...not sure what it was but in the long run....did not remain as an issue....guess that doesn't really help you much now does it?! hahahahahahaha.....

im not sure either lol, the only thing i can think it might be is overwatering. the nutes ive been giving it have never done that before and the light is just far enough away so not to burn it. so at the moment im stumped lol. i will just keep my eye on it for now and just wait. thanx again tahoe.

here are more pics of the g13. the first shows the average number of blades per leaf ( 8 ) there are 3,5,6,7,8 and some 9's right on the growing tip. just thought it looks unusual. i know its small at 10 inch ( day 3 of 12/12 ) but i want to try and keep it that way.

hi tahoe & bwinn, thanx for your comments guy's, the male plant has 9 & 11 leaves but the g13 seems unusual in that it has even numbers ( 6 & 8 ) lol never seen it before. bwinn, the good pics come from a good camera lol, im not much of a photographer but when it comes to my plants i can take decent pics lol. i took ph reading today of my feeding solution and found it was way off. the tap water is 7.3 ph and when i add the nutes it goes down to 5.6 ph. i wouldnt mind if it was hydro lol but its soil. i found that adding some of the liquid silicon i mentioned in another post Great Stuff Hydroponics > Growth Technology's Liquid Silicon the ph went back up to 6.8 so i think that is the reason for the leaves curling at the tips. i'll have to wait now and see if it makes a difference.

hi folks, this is day 4 of 12/12 now and i have just noticed some new growth which im not sure what it is. i cant get my cam close enough to get a pic of it and my magifying glass doesnt improve it much. to me it looks like balls starting to emerge like the afghan did, at the moment there are only 2 of these new growths so im hoping its new leaves forming but i wont be certain for another few days. i'll keep you posted on my findings.

hi again folks, i have more bad news from my growroom. the g13 i was growing turned out male also. i have chopped down both of the plants now and cleaned out the room. on a lighter note i have got 4 more of the g13 seeds in a cup germing as i type this message. there will be a new thread starting very shortly in here as and when the seeds sprout. im going to go with my bubblers this time round so its going to be a big learning curve this time lol as ive never done hydro !! wish me luck folks.

same thing happend to me i also have three more g13 plants growing lets hope for the best. and i wish you the best too.
