So 1 plant grew much taller than the rest.. they are just over a week flowering so left it a little late to knuckle them over. But out of the 6 I bent, 1 of them split rather than bend, holding on by a thread of the stem.. what should i do!?!?!?

Honestly, I hate to say it but I would just snap it off and take it as a loss...BUT, it's also a lesson in how gentle you need to be during supercropping. So, not a total loss...

Next time, instead of trying to lower the canopy of one plant, just add a some books or a milk crate to HEIGHTEN the lower canopy's. That's what I do, have super tall hazes on the ground, and squat indicas on milk crates, even canopy across the board.

Indeed a lesson learned! Don't think it's worth trying to band it together?? Great idea! That would solve mixing different strains together! Appreciate the advice dude

No problem. You could try to band it together, but IMO with it being in flower, you want that energy to be focused on the healthy bud sites that are already kicking ass vs. the plant using a decent amount of energy trying to mend itself.

If this were veg, I would say, hell yeah, tape that bitch up and give her some silica....but alas, this is not the situation.

I know it is heartbreaking as hell...I know this because I have personally snapped probably something like 30-40 tops, via being too rough during lst, or supercroping, in my growing "career" of ten years. LOL. Probably more.

The feeling never hurts any less. LOL

Ahaha that makes me feel less shit thanks dude! What is silica? Should i have the break touching again as if it were not broken?

Silica is a non-essential nutrient, but added into your nutrient regimen will help to strengthen and thicken stems...will also help with repairing broken stems.

Yessir.

The real bitch is when you accidentally snap off a stem that has multiple tops, DOH! XD That's a punch to the gut. LOL
Awwww man!! My first time having a go at "topping" and missed a couple I think.. aha but some have 2/4 even 6 new top stems!?

Ice cream stick for the splint and plastic clothes pegs x 2 to hold it there. Pegs are better as there is no damage when removing it and not stem rot from tape etc.
Will my plastic band suffice for this!? It's survived 24hours already.. so there is still hope! Cheers dude
