Using a stove top vaporizer to purify extract by fractioning

This run was a total recovery run. Temperatures can be set to whatever range is desired. Similar to distillation, multiple runs improve potency. First run is extremely potent for middle fraction. Vaping the final product after the solvent is boiled off and extract vacuum purged is remarkably smooth and extremely stoney.

This rig with little or no modification can be used to extract thc from marijuanna plants and will do it as well as any other dry flower vaporizer. I am gonna set up a demo video of this, but if you do indeed use a thermocouple and regulated the temp to about 330F and vape the contents of the flask into the Snyder Column set up then extraction will be as complete as if you were vaping it youself.

Scaling up would simply be a matter of the size of vaping vessel. I have no need other than pure research I enjoy to investigate the idea but a simple metal pipe loaded with herb and capped at each end would work. A simple screen on one end and an entry tube fitting and exit tube fitting through each endcap and voila! A poor mans high tech extraction unit! Choose a hotplate or heater of choice, and use a thermocouple or not to verify and regulate temperature.

This has an additional advantage over EVERY other method for extracting concentrate abailable out there - it is not illegal to vape marijuanna in the states that have legallized it, BUT it is still a felony crime to extract without a license (at least in Oregon) IF you use supercritical fluid extraction, butane blasting (hyper dangerous in ANYONES hands), or some state even specify that you cannot extract the thc with chemicals (legal begals argue over what a chemical is defined as lolz!).

This method uses hot air to extract. Politicians know all about hot air and use it themselves so it can't be illegal, right? The methanol is used to scrub the vapor and there are DAMN GOOD reasons to use methanol for this, however should a legal begal decide this too was illegal then a switch to even water would work (I think so anyway but have not tried yet).

My point is this; we all know that vaporization is a good way to extract because we do it all the time. Unless vaporizing becomes illegal, then this process is as far above board as it gets AND given the inexpensive nature of it might well be the best path for anyone needing to extract pure medicine from plant material wihout investing more than the cost of a good cookware set!

If you find this information useful then all I ask for in return is $32,000,000 in unmarked, non-sequential five dollar bills, and a promise that you won't tell on me. Sound fair?
