Usps needed signature for seed delivery?

hey Everyone I am just curious if anyone has experience with usps needing a signature for a seed order? This has never happened to me before. I wasn't home when they tried to deliver it now they want me to come to the post office and pick it up. Should I be worried or does this happen often?

There are other discussions of this. First, call the vendor and ask if they requested a signature. Good a place to start as any.

Thanks for the advice, The order was with Attitude or choice seed bank. I've used them a lot in the past but never had to sign for it

Are you growing - or planning to - at the address you're receiving the beans? Is your state a legal grow state?

If the answers are yes, I wouldn't get them. Probably a 1 in a 1000 chance there's anything up, but still......

On the other hand, maybe Choice is tired of sending duplicate orders out for "lost" orders.

I am in a medical state and I am not growing at my residence. I live in a conservative area that wags their finger at the medical law though so that's why I'm kind of nervous. I did email them but I won't hear back from them until later tonight probably.

I used to request to have to sign my Attitude orders. I thought it might increase the chance I'd get the package. Went to the post office several times no problem. Only lost 1 of the last 8 orders to customs and Attitude replaced it.

Yea too bad as Dcseed exchange is awesome I planted 3 black gold and 3 redwidow and all pop and still got bunch left after I grow these out and whole pack of freebies and Paul's a nice guy to :bigjoint::peace:
