Vacuum sealing in jars

I have the ability to do this and don't see any reason not to. My searches resulted in lots of folks saying it's a good thing, but I'm curious about long term storage. Oregon has an abundance of weed and you can't hardly give it away.

This ought to whip up a good discussion. My main way of long term storage is making it into bubble hash. They have found hash in Egyptian tombs that is still viable...

Well, so much for the good discussion. I will share that my Food Saver II Professional overheats and shuts down every half hour or so of nearly continuous use.

I've transferred all my horde to vac bags. Had way too many big jars around. I'll never get to it all, but wanted a long terms storage solution too. I like how the vac bags smash everything into a nice brick. Air is the enemy in preservation!
