Vendoring Advice

I went and read plenty of threads on how to contact co-ops and delivery services and i made sure i was polite professional and dressed accordingly. most places i called immediately told me they were not accepting new vendors and i had GoGreen Collective come by and get some samples and they were never heard from again. I got one other place to get in touch with around here and then im gonna be researching the net again for collectives who are willing to accept new vendors if at all possible. Right now i got some weight i would like to provide to the right co-op or collective.

What i really need to know is, aside from providing quality stuff and also being professional and serious, what else can i do to really make a impression on these guys? I would love to become a vendor because i love growing and want to provide great stuff and not at ridiculous prices. like 40 for a 1/8 for pretty much any strain and 5-10 buck grams. eventually i wanna start my own delivery service since we cant have a collective around here. If and when that happens ill make sure i give everyone a fair chance to display their samples and provide honest advice to help them move things along.

Well there is your first problem. You're asking for permission to show them a sample. Why do that? You're giving them an opportunity to say no without even seeing your shit. Why not just show up, ask to speak with the buyer, and try and make a sale right there?

The worst thing that can happen is they say no or they tell you that you need to call first and make an appointment. No loss for you. Usually they'll at least take a look at what you've got right there. If your shit is right, they'll probably make you an offer on the spot so their competitors don't buy it.

Just walk into clubs and ask to speak with the buyer. Don't call/email to make an appointment unless they refuse to look at it on the spot.

Usually even clubs that say they aren't taking on new vendors will give your stuff a look. Regardless of what they say about not taking new vendors, if they really want your stuff, they'll buy it. I've walked right past signs in the waiting room that say "no vendors at this time" on many occasions and walked out with cash in my pocket.

If you just take no for an answer when they haven't even seen your stuff, you'll never get rid of it.
