Ventilation/Odor Control Advice Needed

I need some insight and wisdom on a ventilation/odor control issue. I recently built a 3'x2'x4' (24cf) growbox with a 2"x12" passive intake. Running CFL's. Thinking that with this being a relatively small box, all I would need is a 4" duct running to a Honeywell Turboforce 7 3/5" fan blowing into a 5 gallon Ona bucket. Airflow was not a problem - the little Honeywell does an awesome job. All was well until the four plants got up to about 8" high (still in veg), and then things got pretty skunky, so I pulled the grow. I have it set up in a small office building. The landlord is cool with what I am doing, but there are two other tentants that are unaware of what is going on, and of course I want to keep it that way.

Venting into the attic or outside is not an option, so I am thinking about buying a 6" inline fan pulling a carbon scrubber, and having it vent into the Ona bucket. Does this sound like it might take care of the odor? Please, if you are an experienced grower with knowledge on the subject, your advice will be much appreciated!

Also, can anyone recommend a good quality fan/filter combo in the $150-$175 range?
