vertical arduino

Hiya fella's. Been a while but my day is less hectic and I have time to come on here again. Still a dedicated vert head and getting into arduino. I want my room to interact and self adjust to the seasons and conditions that creates.

I know there is plenty of arduino / automated threads but most seem incomplete, out of date or not tailored to vertical. I am at an early stage and thought there may be others interested and jump on the wagon.

Anybody thinking about it, go for it, the buzz u get wen you program a chip to do your bidding and it works is fantastic and really is better than sex. At the moment I have a simple temperature shield that will send temp details to my mobile phone. Arduino will add and remove light and heat, depending on the temp.
ie. ,
temp below 25 degrees heater comes on until temp achieved.
temp below 26 degrees no osc fans, all lights on
temp hits 30degrees, 1 side light goes off.
temp hits 32 degrees, another side light turns off.
Extractors on and off as per programmed.

i have full control of 6 x 600W HPS ,2 in centre and 4 in the corners. I now have inside canopy and outside canopy. 1x 10" box fan, 1 x 6" extractor.

My Arduino has bluetooth so easy to communicate with my moblie where i can overide any pre-programmed parameters.

PLANS.
auto feed. Mix fresh water and add nutes using peristaltic pumps, moisture sensors etc
time lapse camera and live video stream. Add WIFI. Sensors for PH and EC. CO2. Room security. safety features.

This shit is so cheap and so easy, all u need is an inquisitive mind and imagination. My 10yr old son has put a magnet lock on his door that opens to a secret knock that he programmed, so don't be scared. So far it has cost about £20 ($30) and a few hours to create. Temp shield/sensor £2, arduino uno board, £3.50, bluetooth shield £12 (not the cheapest). 8 way 5v/240v 10a relay shield £5. lPENNIES really.

If folk want, I will post on here as I go.
