I am sure you have heard of HO FLO's but how about VHO. If you havn't heard of VHO FLO's consider yourself lucky because I am introducing them to you now.:grin:

The Bulbs are reasonable but as always the recepticle and ballasts are expensive. Maybe you can come up and share with us a cheaper way of getting a recpticle/reflector. Their is one way to cut cost that i have found and that is to use a retro-fit setup. I havn't found any negatives about it yet.


Unfortunately, the VHO bulbs (very high output) change their spectrum too rapidly, although they can be used for yet an additional gain in intensity. You must, however, replace them frequently to compensate for the spectrum loss, usually every 4 to 5 months.

Anyways, you be the judge. If anyone is using this type of lighting please share. I would like to see results before I invest money. I do have a friend that uses thembut he grows corral not Cannabis. So I don't know the results obviously. He was the one to turn me on to them. :weed:

Have you looked into Over driving you ballast it can double your light out put .I am trying this out tommorrow.
