Violence in Tibet

the dalai lama announced today that he would step down as political leader of the tibetan people if the violence does not stop.
this comes a few days after an estimated 80 killed in the riots.
although chinese sources are saying 10 people were killed. Now the city of Lhasa is on a curfew and the military has been deployed to the region.
And the chinese are not allowing any media to be put on the internet from there and journalists have been told to leave.

how did you find out about it if they aren't allowing any media?
since the riots erupted, youtube has been flooded with chinese nationalist propaganda. Go to youtube and search tibet protests tibet violence and you will pull up the crazyest shit. Real propaganda put togeather by the chinese government to make everything in tibet look prosperous and honky dory like the chinese want it. its pretty scary.
but back to how did they find out about it.....hmmm. im guessing that since the protests began on the 10th of march commemorating the tibetan uprising day in 1959, the story was being covered but the news was out well befor they started rioting and getting into scuffles with chinese military. Before they kicked all the journalists out.
