Vipar LED question

I am looking at a VIPAR on eBay, contacted VIPAR on their web site and they confirmed the eBay account is theirs and the items ship from a distribution center in the USA. Now I need to know if the lights are any good?

This is the setup I am looking at and would love some feedback if anyone has used VIPAR or more specifically these VIPAR lights I am looking to buy. Price is pretty good.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

That is a good price but I can't say how good that specific panel is actually. VIPAR is basically a reseller and aren't really that bad as far as a middleman go, though a 1 year warranty makes them less appealing to me. It is assumed that VIPAR gets their stuff from the the company below so you could cut out the middleman. I would stick with the model that VIPAR UK sells since they appear to work well. Alex281 is doing a new journal of VIPAR's latest panels. You may want to check that thread out too. I have an older model VIPAR and it's been great to me. Remember though what you save up front you pay later on in both running cost and yield. Still for the money they ain't bad. Chinese panels are getting to acceptable performance levels, though their durability has been a concern, which makes buying from VIPAR not a bad decision since you do get a warranty of value. Hope that helps.

Sooo when I posted this last night, I already bought them and they showed up yesterday ( bought them 4 days ago ), I was just hoping to hear they are great lol. So here is the interesting thing, their distributor double shipped, I got notice of another package arriving today that is the same weight from the same place. On best offer I paid 340.00 on eBay and will now have 4.

Hopefully 4 can do the trick as far as yield goes ( or maybe I just return the first set for a full refund and then run the 2 free ones )

I only plan on growing autos under these.
