Most people here will tell you to avoid them. To the LED-noob they seem very inexpensive, but that's because they're so inefficient. You'll get more light from COBs or Quantum Boards, and it will be a much better quality of light. Read some of the threads here and you'll discover that many growers have bought cheap brands, like the Viparspectra, only to later regret it and wish they'd just saved a little more money for a COB or QB fixture.

Thanks for the info...I have considered making my own lights...but for now I'm looking for some feedback on the VIPARSPECTRA lights

Apollo tents are great! The only pre-made light i'd buy is the maxsisun 1440. 340$ 600 watts at the wall and with a par that blows everything even 2x the price out the water.

This has just been switched to flower yesterday under a viparspectra 300w and I'm getting a 300w cfl bulb in beside it today20180115_175657.jpg 20180116_060634.jpg might make a journal for her, 4 months spent in a 3L pot being topped again and again, she'll be a great test for the little V300!
