Well apollo 13 is 100% apollo 13 X 50% Apollo 13 (the vortex), so all the good stuff about the hybrid vortex vanishes back into the Apollo 13. Apollo 13 is a hard plant to please and grow (needs lots of nitrogen or it goes yellow very early). Apollo 13 smells like baby poo, not a very sweet happy smell. Its been bred for its high which is supposed to be very sativa, whereas the high of vortex is an excelent balance of indica and sativa leaning on the sativa.Plushberry sounds and looks dank as fuck! The complexity seems to have simmered down and the "sweetened lemonade" mango flavor is really starting to shine through. And it's so damned smoothe...........doc them nugs look nice and yummy lookin at it loooks ssooo nice mate il have to try vortex very soon doc

Growth: In Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil (3 gal. pots) under 1000w HPS on a 4 ft. mover. Very easy to grow.
Nutes: Fox Farms, Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom and Botanicare Cal-Mag
Yield: 3 ounces off of one plant.
Bag Appeal: Bag appeal is 9/10. The buds are nice and tight, spear shaped beauties covered in orange hairs. Very frosty!
Smell: The smell of this one is very unique and difficult to describe. It definitely smells like sour, rotting fruit. There is more to it than that though. It smells like no weed I've ever smoked before but I really like it!
Taste: The taste is like sour candy and is similar to the smell. This stuff tastes really good!
The High: The high is a soaring sativa high. It's very up and happy. Almost too intense if you smoke too much of this stuff. Not for the lightweight smoker.
Comments: This is some top shelf dank. Very potent! It works pretty good at relieving my chronic low back pain. For a sativa it doesn't keep me awake. I can smoke this stuff day or night with no problems. Overall this strain gets an 8 or 9/10. I planted 2 seeds, got a male and a female. I tossed the male and the female I got is definitely keeper material. I still have 8 seeds left in the pack so I may get bored in the future and see if I get a better pheno but I doubt if I can! I would highly recommend this smoke to anyone. Vortex is definitely some dank, no doubt about it!

I planted 2 seeds and got 1 female. I'm not sure what the ratios are but I haven't seen any complaints about male/female ratios with any of his gear. It is some really good smoke! I'm very pleased!
