The Republican Party's scruples start and end at 'follow the money'.
They most certainly do not adequately represent those conservative voters earning less than $250k/yr. After all, they're the party of 'it's your fault if you don't earn enough money'.

not true, they also hold tightly to the tenet "piss off libs" at any and all costs as well, even their own health insurance.

Those in charge are wealthy enough to buy their own, and of course senators and congressmen get a very nice healthcare package their constituents do not.
