Wage Gap between richest 1% and poorest 1% by state

How do you feel about this kind of income inequality in America in 2016?

That's crazy that a random stranger on the internet can have such an affect on you. This is why they have anti bully laws. People online kill themselves because of what you're going through. I hope you can get the help you need, before it's too late.

So the income gap keeps rising and our economy keeps sputtering. It never quite tips into recession but it resists all efforts to create a broad based expansion that improves the lives of average people as opposed to those at the top, who have built their fortunes on endless varieties of rentierism.

I see a strong correlation between ongoing economic weakness and all the money accumulating to a very few.

Those few now blatantly manipulate our political system by means of Citizens United, so we get to 'choose' between a candidate vetted and approved by them and another candidate vetted and approved by them. Meanwhile, the media spins on...

Corruption need not be illegal to be corrosive to our political system, our country and our future.

I'm beginning to lose hope in America's willingness and therefore ability to change course for the betterment of the common citizen.
