Wall Ac Unit Exhausting Into Room Next To It?

So i have a large underground basement. I made a sealed grow room on the one side that is 350 ish square feet. The unfinished side of the basement is allot bigger. I want to run co2 so i need to get an ac unit but i can't get it to vent outside because i have glass block windows. I'm currently exhausting the hot air from the grow room into the larger side of the basement where it cools down and passively gets sucked back into the room alot cooler. But with co2 i can't do that any more. So could i install a through wall ac unit in the dividing wall and that would exhaust into the larger unfinished side of the basement? If not what way would you cool the room down?

This seems like a pretty sizable project, so I presume you know your shit.

I advocate for the minisplit, it's just better in every way for what youre doing. The window unit is fine as long as you take proper steps to seal around it.

I was going to make a drain tray. My basement is usually really cooled so the heat coming off of it would warm it up down there.
You also will need to run dehumidifier adding more heat I would skip the co2 idea an find a way to vent it doesnt need to be in the room just some where in the basement put in a extra dryer vent.

Where does the water vapour go? Your basement must be dripping wet.
 
even better .. you can get a mini split and put the outdoor unit in a separate room
This room has to be cool enough so that the outdoor unit can discharge the heat from the grow room.

The sum of the heat will be : heat charge from all the equipments in the growroom (lights, fans..) + heat generated by the compressor from the outdoor unit+eventually radiant heat coming thru the walls of the growroom (if it's very hot outside, during summer for exemple)

Your heat and humidity will be out of control in warm months, maybe always. The AC will produce so much of both. Needing a dehumidifier to change the humidity in the buffering room.... creating more heat

That side of the basement has its own dehumidifier and is pretty cold year round. The grow room with (4) 700 watt led lights stays under 85 with no ventilation or ac. So i think I'll only need a small ac to drop it 5 degrees during lights on.
 
a 3.5kW mini split will handle this easily
during winter the outdoor unit will run very smoothly if the room it's in is cold

you will barely hear it from outside

also the air conditioner does not produce any "humidity"
except that water held by the air will condense on the coils and be evacuated in the condensates

in cool mode it will dehumidify in the grow room (where the indoor unit is)

and in heat mode (heat pump), water will condensate outside (where the outdoor unit is)

How much co2 do you need to run, and which method of supplementation? In a 3 x 3 tent with this set up I maintain no less than 1200ppm with the simple co2 bucket or a shroom bag. So for me, the benefits of temp and RH environmental controls far outweigh the loss of some co2.
8500BTU window unit (analog, not digital) on a thermostat, heat exhausted outside, cold air output focused to vent tube and pumped directly into tent with the help of a small inline fan and variable speed controller. I have a grow very similar to this in a shop. I have window units and very very rarely have I ever seen a drip. The reason why is that modern window unit air conditioners reuse the water being made to cool the unit. The fan hits the water and cools the coils.
The times that I did see this was when I was just using 1 25,000 but unit and it was running nonstop when I had a couple hundred gal hydro setup going. I have 2 units now and using coco and they never hardly have water
