Well i decide to take a small clipping and leave the stem in some water. After a few days i noticed the leafs wilted and basically looked dead. Any clue on what i did wrong?

you must create a humid climate for the clone(s), 80-90% try using clear wrap over a bowl or go to the hydro store and get a dome 6" w/ some 1" rockwool and some gel or powder. Make sure you make your cut on a node, and i only leave the two top leaves for feeding yhe root growth.

Hey Hank...

like mr shed said.... your clone lost all of its moisture through its leaves... if you put a plastic dome of your cutting it will help a lot... wilt spray will do miracles...

and having a set of STRIPPED nodes in the water is KEY..

cheers

yepp... mine did tha same. i tried again, just put some sort of tupperwear... just make sure 2 spray with water everyday... and leave a flouro on 24/7 takes a few weeks, but i had good root growth, no growth hormones neither.
