Water Cured, definitely worked

My plant is over-ripe by most growers' standards. So me being the perpetual student, I decided to wait a few more weeks before chop. But, I had to test it; so I plucked some and dried it in the oven on low heat for minutes.

When it felt dry enough, I dry herb vaped it. Buzz was a little racey, a lot heady and a bit foggy with a haze that wasn't euphoric. Had me a little wired. Wasn't horrible but wasn't next level. ***That is expected with uncured bud.

So at same time I took another nug from same branch and put it in jar/water. Did a 7 day cure. Flushing water when foggy. Dried it with low oven heat just like the other one.

I dry herbed vaped it and it immediately hit me in the forehead. I can feel the tingle in my face and lips after a few minutes. Not euphoric either which is probably due to strain, but sunlight reflecting off the leaves outside look nicer than normal, gotta mow the lawn but gotta eat first, but want to listen to music at the same time...that kind of buzz. Quite a bit more potent that the non-water cured sample. Still pretty heady, and now I can't stop typing. Good stuff.

That's one myth busted. Water cured, definitely worked for my sun grown plant.

Interesting, I remember hearing about this a while ago but I never did it. So is this something you would do all the time OR is it just done if you do not have the time to dry cure?

how did the taste compare between the two? I've heard water curing or washing your bud diminishes taste and smell but leaves it very smooth

I'm actually water curing more of the same batch, a lot more of it though. I guess I have to wait for both normal and water cures to be done and compare...but as of now, yep. I'll update.

Taste is basically flavorless with the water cured, but scent is nothing too. It's always nice to smoke a scentless herb that gets you ripped. You're right, it was super smooth. Definitely easy on the lungs, especially good for the more athletically inclined type, like myself.

I've messed around and rehydrated overly dry stuff with spearmint that I grow outside. Suddenly flavorless goes menthol.
I rehydrated by simply putting them in a baggie or closed container together. The dry weed sucks the moisture and flavor of the mint out.
