Water Hose Filter-Outdoors???

Do you think this would help my plants? Not having any problems just the typical what else can I do to make them better. Maybe a better question is why not filter out the tap water?

I wouldnt bother, the water filter wouldn't get rid of the stuff that is bad for the plants (ie chlorine and other fun chemicals). However, it maybe a purer smoke if the trace minerals (aluminum and copper) aren't added to the soil. To make a long story short, it wouldn't hurt.
