Watermelons anyone?

I grew a few Crimson Sweet here on the sandhilll, and a few more down at the river field. I had yellow meat but the rain was harder on them than the CS's. (the tomato and the melon were about equally out of bounds)

Those sugar babies? I wish, those little ones are the only ones that seem to finish for me here and even then its real late . Got to find a good variety for my area if there is one

Yea they are sugar babbies, they should be ready to harvest in the next month or so.

I did get a couple small cantaloupe a few years back. They didn't get the care they needed. I'm going to investigate different varieties of melon and see if I can't find one that would do better than others where I'm located.
