Weak weed every time?

It's not the harvesting and curing that's the problem, it's believing seed packages and other amateur growers when they tell you 8-10 weeks is long enough for Cannabis to ripen, when in fact it requires at least 13 and more like 14-15. In short, your weed sucks for the same reason that 99.9% of US grown weed sucks, because it's amateur hour and the blind lead the blind. If you grow weed with the same growing season as London then it will come out exactly like London weed, meaning garbage.

If grown properly, this is a matter of genetics. 90% of the breeders are producing trash these days, with little clue what they are doing. I could count on 2 hands the only breeders I'd really consider are producing worth while stuff. With bad genetics, no matter your growing skill, it's only going to be so-so. With great genetics, even a crappy grow will produce something worth while. Choose carefully young skywalker.
Name those breeders!

Care to enlighten us as to who these companies are?

Stop smoking for a day or two...you'll get that high your missin...plants look good...I've taken bagseeds outta brick weed n turned it into fire...I dont think it's your genetics or ur growing skills...could it just be you?...or does everyone that smokes ur bud say its weak?

67-70 days you usually chop all your plants!!!
I willing to bet that’s the issue!! Or you smoke WAYYYY TOO MUCH WEED...
Why would I think that? Sounds a lot like my first grows... bet they are clear as water!!
I soon found out smoking and growing were two different ball games...I showed a picture earlier in this thread.. it’s starting week 11.. from the time I saw bud development not flip...it needs some more time..still swelling
Aside from all that .. take a 4/20. 4 days off 20 days on...
I’ve realized I need some amber...smoke seems stronger and last longer...
Lao at 67-70 you’ve probably built a a decent terp profile...just needs longer.. jm2c
Breeders time are probably in range.. just a different environment now so thing will pace differently...

They really start fattening up in week 14. Before that the calyxes aren't fully expanded. I have a batch at 11 weeks right now and it's nowhere near filled out or potent enough. Needs another month. It would be crazy to chop at 8-11 weeks like almost everyone does. They're kidding themselves that it's mature because real weed growing takes a lot more time and they're not that patient. They also get mold because they have little or no UVB in their light specrums. That's why they get powdery mildew. Granted UV is dangerous and kind of troublesome but it does help kill mold apparently.

I'm personally getting tired of everybody blaming genetics. I've grown clones and taken over strains that were said to be "garbage". I've gone from leafy hay like mess to very potent bud. Same strain just more dialed in.

Most clones was from an old friend of mine. He was one of dose guys who believed himself to be an expert grower but in reality he was just a simple lazy stereotypical stoner. Always overfeeding didn't measure pH and EC and did not even monitor temps and humidity.

Go through all your variables and try dialing them in one by one. Try to develop understanding by monitoring and keeping journal. Good luck!

Pretty sure it's the short grow time, 10 weeks is nothing. There's 3 things you need for optimal quality, 15 weeks flowering time, leaving the buds on the stems for the first 24-48 hours after harvest at least, and using bottom lighting in addition to top lighting. The entire grow space should be lit up, no dark areas. If leaves are yellowing and dropping off, there's obviously a problem. It's not that hard to set lights up to shine upward, just not HID lights of course, LED ones.

I feed with jacks 321 which is around 700-800 ppm so thats not too much I usually do feed water feed unless they look hungry then feed feed water. I feel like I gotta be doing something right my last harvest I pulled around 2.5-2.75 a light so don't think Im over fertilizing. Does curing make it way better?
50% of your overall product comes from a good cure brother the difference is night and YOU GOTTA CURE MANN
