Bonus: As soon as my bank will understand that i dont have an iphone and need to stop pushing me to get one by un-abling my bank transfer ( basically you need to get a password from a smart phone...) i'll get:

so you think the extaction is ok then. ill cut that hole now thanks for that.......i cant tell whether its this weather or not because.......... around the same time this weather hit i added a 150cfl in box which massively upped my temps they were more stable before. i think my issue is the reflectors my friend made the one with the 150cfl is so hot to the touch so i guess its acting like a radiator in there........ but there is not much i can do till i can afford another fan to blow some heat off it and keep it cool.
i understand what your are saying about the heat and the stretch it makes sense
although my plants dont seem to mind the heat at the moment, barely any leaf curl but i would like to get it down and under control..... just so i can shut the door, no good having to have it open all time.
Also i dont know if its causing any stress that cant be seen and causing a loss to yield who knows must be a reason everyone says keep it 70 to 80
my only thing with this is....... consider the climate it naturally grows in, sometimes temps must exceed 30 sometimes 40 degrees c so it cant all be that bad temp wise i would just feel more comfortable with a stable lower temperature.

thats the exact same light I've got and I'm pleased with it, I didn't notice much difference in my overall temps when i went to MH, directly under bulb is a lot hotter, but can still keep plants about 8" away and keep ur other standup fan blowing between the bulb and canopy. As far as temps, aim for under 28, it's not perfect, but in this weather I've been running 26-28 although today is a lot cooler thankfully and I'm back at out 23-25. I know it's not a lot of difference but trust me once you've grown a while you,ll notice the difference in the plants in cooler temps. You'll still get good results though with temps around 30, but it leavesu acceptable to pests and diseases more and slows down photosynthesis. Plants that grow outdoors are under a different environment, outside they can take 40 degree weather, try 40 degrees in your cab and see how long the plants last, hehe.
them bags may be worth a go, never tried them though, I reckon a lot of the reasons other peeps bags fall apart is because they don't clean them straight away, get some 99% alcohol and dip the area where you condensed the hash in alcohol, shake a it, then rinse really well under cold water, my bags are like brand new and had prob 20+ washes.

is that chocolate rain from Eskobar? Like Chocolope x cocoa puffs, actually scrap that, im getting confused, I've def seen chocolate rain somewhere and nearly got it. Sounds ace I was looking into getting a chocolately strain, are they all off sannies, I've seen he has a big following, but I've become wary of the Dutch, lol, is he even Dutch? He has some amazing time lapse videos on YT, check em out.
So what's ur opinions on their strains, I like their prices, lol, £25 for 10 beans is the right price, I think, for beans. I love TGA but the seedbanks are getting greedy with their strains, I reckon all new strains will stay at £42 for 5 beans, which is expensive I think, especially since sub says he sells them for like $1.50 each to the banks. I dunno how much he sells them for at events but im saving up my money and planning to goto hempfest next yr. I'll buy every strain then!
Im sorted for a while anyways, got JTR, time wreck and Mickey Kush to pop, and a load of freebies I've been building up, got aload of grand daddy genetics beans for freebies from the tude which look promising.

I completely agree with you guys, if it wasnt for those "new" prices i would have gone with TGA 5 packs but now i'll wait for the new strains to get down, i want to sample at least one of them with Cheesquake and Qush in my next order...
Sannies definetly has the best prices if the genetics is up to par with RP or TGA but based on what people are saying those guys are working with wicked genetics so i dont see a reason to be worried. If it aint it still cant be worse than GH and i'll still get some decent weed but again i think they'll be at least as good as RP/DNA mediocre strains.
Chocolate rain is Chocolope x Cocoa Kush, Extrema is Chemd x Herijuana, Chucky's bride is Exodus x C99 (pinneaple pheno) so i'm super excited about those. My RP/DNA cloned are set, time for the selection and then pheno hunts on those ladies
On the K4L front: they did fucked up one more time miss spelling my adress... I hope the package still get delivered as the mistake aint massive but as far as holding good products those guys are efficient, as far as customer relationship mgmt or anything that recquires to actually use your brain i'm not conviced. I dont mind to be bitchy but 46 mails exchanged to get down to a badly labelled order is kind of a pain in the ass - i'm not describing the many fucked up thing that happen in those 46 mails.
I told them in my last mail that " just to make things clear if the shit wasnt delivered that was on them" to their "I'm sorry about that" mail when i told them they miss spelled my adress. They had it correctly spelled on both my account and order....
Still hope those guys make things work and will still place my next order with them as i believe they are chill dude that try to make a living but on the other hand you cant be fucking around when someones place a close to 200€ order - i'll let you guys know about the delivery.
Roor: If you want a new bubble bag why not investing in the one Frenchy recommended? They might not be the cheapest but as TBob said the only reason i'll change my bags is me not washing them straight away - i've learned my lesson folks
About he light issue is you saying that the 150w CFL is causing temp problems? How many of those do you have? I had a 250 without a cool tube that died on me never had a problem about temp. Now i've got 2x40w T4 and one 150 TW for my veg and cant coplain about the temps on that side of the tent
What is it you're using in veg TBob? I told you i want to have the same system as you and when i'll buy the new tent i'll also buy new bulbs and keep what's for veg for the cloning area. It'd be cool to mimick your setup considering those beautifull buds i've seen.

SH...... sort of..... its not just the light as such
the moderate heat the 150cfl is kicking off, is getting absorbed by aluminium reflector that my friend rolled for me out of sheets of ali....... i only have one 150cfl in there the two 45w are fine could hold my hand on their reflectors all day.
ill put my thermometer on the top of reflector and we will see what temp its actually at
because like i say its hot to touch cant leave hand there for more than a 10 seconds without it getting uncomfortable.... so my guess is its sort of acting as a radiator
but the space underneath the reflector and bulb (ie space in between plant and bulb) is fine could again happily keep my hand there......
will update with pics and results soon....

ok so its just over ten mins since my last post and heres the results
temp on reflector quickly reached almost 98f i Am sure if left longer it may get higher
i also moved my thermom down to the bottom of my cab and the temp quickly dropped from 86 to 82F this is more like it but too low down now for an average reading...... so ive stuck it to the side of cab to get an accurate reading of the temp around the middle..... could of been getting a false idea of the temps with my thermom been so high up as obviously heat rises lol ......

ok so its 20 mins since that last update i have had my door closed.......with my bigger thermom moved to new place and the smaller thermom remained on top of reflector
and i think i now know why my box gets so hot haha.............. as suspected when i kept the thermom there ontop of the reflector for longer it now reads nearly 110F becasue of this temps inside box now read 89F (pics to follow)
i knew my extraction couldnt be that bad with that much air blowing out of the box............its like a hair dryer haha no restriction what so ever.......
so how do i stop this problem of my reflector creating so much heat? hmmmm

Ok, with the thermometer ontop of the reflector ignore everything it says, it's prob over 100 if I left a thermo up there on mine.
best way to take a reading is having the thermometer attached to the side of your cab and jus slightly lower than the canopy now, that's where I take my general reading from, I also have another thermometer, the wire type, hanging down from my hood about 12" at around canopy level.
the reading on the side of the cab is usually a degree or so lower so about 24-25 on side and 26-27 below hood, I do have about 5 fans blowing about in my tents though, 3 at canopy and 2 below, their the hortiline 5w Eco fans, not very powerful but nr silent and only 5w, def recommend them, I prefer more fans thane bigger one as the air moves more from dif directions.
When u get the HPS, the hood should be higher up and nearer the extraction, don't worry bout temps above the canopy, as long as u have plenty of air movement over canopy and below u should be fine, the hot air the hood makes will only rise anyway.

in my veg I've got t5 4x 2ft uptop and 150w MH below, exact same one as Roor posted! My temps have stayed fine, sometimes a bit too low but I have a 4" rvk extracting and both bottom passive intakes open, also how my rooms setup I leave my balcony door open and fresh air goes straight into tents. I'll take some pics later when I'm watering and show how its setup, after this Run im changing my intake on the flower tent as its right next to the extraction.
i used to just use a 150w cfl, but It only illuminated part of my tent, while I was looking to get another one I found the 150w MH and went for that, I reckon it's better than 300w of cfl, half the eleccy and its not that hot for a HPS. It supposedly illuminates 60x60cm but my tents 75x75 and fully lights it, with no plants seeing to stretch towards it.
Actually, i would go with a 250w dimmable ballast option instead, and run at 150w, I know during winter it could handle 250w, they were just out of stock when I was purchasing and I can't wait for things,lol!
oh and all 3 of them strains look sick! That choco rain I nearly bought, so be good to see u grow it out! I've always wanted to try herijuana so a cross with chemd can't be bad and cheese and pineapple just sounds mint! Lol, that's some nice sounding genetics!

Ok just checked my temps, ontop of my hood gets to bout 84, my tents actually lower than I thought the scales were confusing me, lol, at around canopy it's about 79 and 75 on side, that will drop soon though as lights just gone on and always the first hour and last hour are usually hotter for me as suns still out! It's probably averaging around 73-75 which is a lot cooler than I thought,lol. I was thinking 25 degrees is like 80-85, oops!
I actually start panicking when my tent gets over 85, lol, that's like 29/30 degrees, that's the hottest my tents been, when ive seen it like that I open every door up and just leave the tent doors open, which drops the temps.
Your plant looks healthy as though so can't be hurting them too much, but it's the flowering when you'll find out really!
though I do mollycoddle my plants a bit! Lol. I Take better care of them than I do for myself!

When u get the HPS, the hood should be higher up and nearer the extraction
not exactly... the hoods wont even be in the box... i have my mate building a frame to sit them in.... im planning on having them on the roof and just cutting some holes in the top of box, the same shape of the hood........sort of like nugbuckets the guy who does main lining has his set up, on the roof of his cabs (although im sure his is a lot more professionally done lol)
this is why im hoping 2x 150 hps wont be so much of a problem with heat, as there be no actual heat source in the box, just what ever is produced from the light shining in.
ill just need to be careful to not let the plants get too close ( but the frame should give me a couple of inches extra)

Here's something for ya, if u putting the lights above the box, you could prob run two easily if you got a piece of glass and made a glass roof sort of thing, Have lights directly above and leave a like a inch gap for air to escape and have fan blowing between glass and hood. Be sort of air cooled hoods, and just raise plants up and down instead of hood

if you have a flat top on your cabinet, just lay a flat piece of glass over it, and hang lights above, i reckon this could stop most the heat going into your cab.thats the plan...... sort of, minus the glass as i dont know how id pull that off..... will have a think on that though thanks for the idea

this is a overall shot, can't get any better as I can't stand back far enough, my flower tent is on he left and veg on right, I'm gonna be setting up my little clone tent just next to veg tent, but leaving that till after this grow asim gonna rearrange shit.

Here's top part of veg tent, I usually have smaller seedlings here and clones that have rooted.
heres the bottom part with 150w MH, here's where I keep 1 plant in 20litre pot waiting to be flowered and 1 plant in 3 litre pot waiting to be potted up.
and heres flower tent, nothin really exiting happening here at mo, the big plant is a Sour D and the hazey looking plant at theback is one of my crosses (the last and only time I bother breeding, wasted so much time and ended up with mid grade shite, straight to tincture

this is a overall shot, can't get any better as I can't stand back far enough, my flower tent is on he left and veg on right, I'm gonna be setting up my little clone tent just next to veg tent, but leaving that till after this grow asim gonna rearrange shit.

Here's top part of veg tent, I usually have smaller seedlings here and clones that have rooted.
heres the bottom part with 150w MH, here's where I keep 1 plant in 20litre pot waiting to be flowered and 1 plant in 3 litre pot waiting to be potted up.
and heres flower tent, nothin really exiting happening here at mo, the big plant is a Sour D and the hazey looking plant at theback is one of my crosses (the last and only time I bother breeding, wasted so much time and ended up with mid grade shite, straight to tincture
