Soo... Here's my issue. I was involved in an accident that put me in the hospital and in a spot where i was unable to attend to my plants for the last 3/4 weeks. I was able to have someone water them, but that was tough to begin with.

So not being able to properly trim them until last week, they started growing lower popcorn . As of today, i'm starting week 6 of flowering so i'm wondering if its too late to get rid of the bottom crap in order for me to get the larger flowers i like? Ive never had this issue, so i'm not sure. I trimmed last week for the first time but still have some crap i wanna get rid of. It's Super Silver Haze btw...
Or should i just let it go?

Looks like you could definitely continue to flower these and be rewarded for the efforts. I mean nothing really appears to be terribly wrong with them, so just leave them in flower until they are ready to harvest. Budsite removal is a highly debated topic. Is it too late to remove larfy lower growth in hopes it will direct more energy to tops? No not at all. Is it necessary to remove them to get bigger top buds? No, not necessarily. What I do is select the budsites that I know won't recieve adequate light, and remove those. Although if there are decent looking lower branches that may turn into a 2 gram nug best case scenario, I'm definitely leaving it on. Hope this helps

It all helps, thanks for the info. I kinda do the same thing as far as removing sites that don't see the light, but sine i'm not able to go to look at them in the tent still, I'm guessing as to which ones to removes. I think i'll just let them go out and see what happens. I'll just have to trim more in the end.

i would let her go - she doesn't look like she has a lot of popcorn buds at all. in fact, it does look like she has been cleaned up already. you were lucky you had someone to take care of her while you were down - they seem to have done a nice job for you! that must have been one heck of an accident - cheers to you being out of the hospital.

It was indeed one heck of one :) Still recovering, and will be for a while. I sure am lucky for someone to look after. Thanks for the advice and the well wishes :)

I've only grown the SSH a couple of cycles, but mine ran 12-14 weeks and could have gone longer. You are just getting started. Completely different than the indica posted above.

Just cut my screen and added necessary plant support yoyos. I think it was a good decision as it ends up getting more light to the bud sites. The plants are 2 sativas and 1 indica. Before and after pics below.

Looking healthy . I'm going to try to do that, but in a different way by attaching to the pot. The reason is I'm growing in the basement, and I can't walk down any stairs yet! It's really pissing me off lol!

Nice healthy green foilage as well. Doesn't look like it will have much inhibiting it from taking off.

My personal rule of thumb is I do all my lollipop and small flowers stealing expensive nutes removal on day 21 . I choose this time because by then most strains have finished there stretch ( unless og strain ) this way you don't have to put your plant in to multiple shocks by having to keep reducing because your plant keeps growing . Also I try not to shock my flowering plants during the first 3 weeks of bud development. After the lollipop is done most of your physical work is pretty much done and it's pretty much cruise control . Feed and wait for the fruits of your labour .
    Good luck

I was just looking at your trees again. What size containers are you using.
