I called that one. ;)

They are promoting River City Phoenix now and I believe that it's a CITY dispensary not affected by the unincorporated county laws.

I haven't gone by there yet but I will be soon. Not sure about heading up there on Friday as it will be an absolute madhouse.

River City is pretty small, I've been there a few times to pick up Facebook Friday grams. But they are nice and professional and are mostly folks from Mags.

I will be hitting them up for clones when the season comes around again. I am set on meds till then. It just sucks seeing them close down. :(

It does suck. I don't know if clubs here will be selling clones any more. They have seeds, and told me they can sell those, but I guess now they can get in big trouble selling clones, dunno if that's federal or not. Ask them for the specifics when you go in. I have a pack of non-feminized seeds for next year (and a few odd seeds I found in a few grams I've gotten) I'll either get feminized seeds by spring, or just sprout these and hope I can tell male versus female quickly so I dont waste time and space growing males

I imagine going over 99 clones would be a problem if the feds wanted to be dicks. Maybe they could have mothers and it be a "cut your own clones"?

I could see that as a MAJOR reason to not carry clones. That and the expense of keeping them going till sold. Well I have enough seeds to get me through the next couple seasons if I stay small thanks to some GREAT people here. :D

Wish I could remember exactly what I was told at River City by a budtender from Magnolia, but something like clones are a growing plant, whereas seeds are not, something about that distinction between the two makes it inadvisable for them to sell. Maybe it IS the clone limit, but that's not the impression I got

Once a clone roots it's considered a plant and is added to overall plantcount. Stocking up on clones could really screw a collective in that sense. Also growing plants on site adds a cultivating charge if raided. Gotta cover all the basses. ;) If you look at a lot of the places that got raided they (the media) almost always report on the amount of processed flowers as well as plantcount.

I went down today for a last visit, had to wait in line 30 mins just to show my ID. Anyhoo, got my gold caps and a loaded 8th...the wednesday special. I did ask, they said it was the feds that were cracking down on clones

this sucks big time for me and I only grow 6-12 plants a year from clones.
I really dont want to grow from seed.
Here in Shasta county they want to restrict our grow area and every thing.

You will still be able to get clones. I will just have to utilize the patient network here as well as drive a little bit to hit the city dispensaries that still carry them. :) It's all good.

The federal government sucks. Maybe if they were smaller they would stay the fuck out of our lives. Just some food for thought for election day.

A question about buying clones from the disp in Cal.
Are they rooted when you buy them? I will assume they come in a cup or container with soil or maybe rockwool and they are ready to plant in soil?
In other words, no humidity dome would be needed.
Are they a certain height usually?
And they cost 10 to 20?. I was just curious

Yes they are rooted and ready to plant. Most clones that I have purchased have been over 6 inches and have several nodes already. And $10-$20 is normal in a dispensary. Hope this answers them all. :D

Thanks! No clones here in Az yet and it looks like disps may never open. Our cards say "authorized to cultivate" 12 plants.

The governer might ditch the whole disp model and let us all grow instead

Start looking for seeds now so you will be ahead of the game. It's really easy. Try with bagseed from your homies to start if you can! Then move on to better genetics when you are feeling confident. Hell if you get a good seed you could also just clone your own. :D

Good Luck! :D
