So I am using the towel method and fined that I can’t stop checking up on the little buggers. I can’t help thinking this might be hurting them some way and I feel as if they might not live. But other than that I’m fine...

Don't worry. That is one of the biggest problems I have is I keep going and checking every hour or so. If mothering them helped mine would be mega plants by now! Put the paper towel into a zip lock bag that way if you do space it out they won't dry out.
