My plants are also in 5 gallon buckets and are much larger. Its smart to start in small pots, i start in solo cups, and move up along the way. 1 gallon, 3 gallon, then 5 gallon, only once they fill their container with roots. Too big of a pot for too small a plant makes overwatering easy. I start flowering once they get over the transplant from the 3 gallon and i like their size. 1 gallon per foot works if your growing them naturally and not training bushes

Oh yeah fair point i always forget how easy it is to stress autos and get low yield. I grew some but my first couple grows and yet i always forget to consider that

Still though then youd probably not want to use larger than 2 gallons for autos imo. Maybe 3 if you have experience with the strain and think it could use it. They dont mind small pots as much. Being lighter feeders and all

I guess we'll see when you harvest. Whenever you pull up those rootballs you can decide for yourself. Your stuck in the 5 gallons now anyway

The tap root determines flower. Larger pots extend veg time on autos.

Nutrients can to. Running veg nutes til the end or at least until stretch is over will extend veg time.

Using flower nutrients early can induce flower.

Autos rarely match breeder times.
This guy knows what hes talking about. This may be why your autos took so long. Hes the guy to ask anything about autos in specific not me

I hear vaporizers are really efficient.. Never much liked them though. I got very used to smoking weed. I dont even like oil all that much and ive made a good bit and was dabbing a ton pretty recently. Something about the straight up bud hand broken lit up and smoked. Cant be beat for me.
