Wet bud vs dry bud weight.

Generally speaking, if a freshly harvested bud weighs 8 grams, how much will it weigh when it is properly dried?

you gone have to reduce the bud by about 50-65% in weight to have it fully dried to be stored for long time. but you should consider that curing the bud takes also some moister out still. so a good point to start curing is after the bud lost 35-40% of its weight in moister.

the aim is a rest humidity from around 12-20% under the fact that a fresh bud consist of 70-80 of water

Green, so "dried" but that's even properly cured still has a significant amount of water but still doesn't mold if it's "dried" and cured?

dude, if you finished with air curing the buds gone be dry. but if buts are to dry, so less 10% they crumble to dust again and taste awful too.

air curing is slowly drying the buds and letting the moister spread evenly thru out the bud at a very low level.

if you got to much to store and fear that mold might start put the buds in your freezer, problem solved.
